The edX Professional Certificate consists of three courses:

The series was chosen to be one of the first 14 professional series offered by edX. The series has reaches thousands of students world wide (over 100,000 to date) with top reviews, with students praising the high quality course content and its direct relevance to their work.

This Professional Certificate is endorsed by Infineon Technologies and covers the fundamentals of the Six Sigma methodology and Lean Production for quality and productivity improvement, following the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) process improvement cycle and examining how the principles of Lean production improve quality and productivity and enable organizational transformation. The material of the courses is based on the American Society for Quality (www.asq.org) Body of Knowledge up to a Green Belt Level because this Professional Certificate is designed as preparation for taking a Green Belt exam.

The TUM Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification will be provided as a separate certificate by the TUM Executive Education Center upon completion of all three courses, indicating a mastery of Lean Six Sigma on a Yellow Belt level.

With the TUM Executive Education Center, a further TUM Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is achievable upon completion of a coached project.
